Employment and training MTIB have been delivering employment support since the start of Welfare to Work programmes in the 1980’s and we have taken an active role in the development of new support, contracts and interventions since then. We currently deliver Work Choice, Specialist Employment Support (SES) and Journey to Employment as well as a small Active Inclusion project and our Adult Services (MTCBC) Learning, Employment & Action Project – LEAP – for individuals with Learning Disabilities or Autism. All our support is aimed at supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment and to move them closer to and into sustainable jobs. Our advisors are skilled and experienced in working with a wide range of people, barriers and goals and we pride ourselves in providing individualised, expert and holistic support. Despite our name, MTIB is a pan-disability organisation and we support people who are disadvantaged, disabled or who have work limiting health conditions – we strive to see your potential and not your barriers? Employer Engagement is an important aspect of our work as we seek to upskill employers and support our customers into local jobs. Our support is not only for the individual but also for the employer and work colleagues. Please read more about our current programmes and contact us for more information – we are always keen to hear from individuals and employers.
