As many of you are already aware our Learning Employment Action Project is no longer funded. The 10 month project started in November 2014 and was due to draw to a close at the end of August 2015. However due to its popularity and success it was further extended on two occasions bringing it to an end in May of 2017.

Over the year we worked with a total of 43 clients and 46 parents or carers. Of these 24 clients are now volunteering on a regular basis. Other clients have obtained paid employment, whilst some have moved into further education.

Our client’s vary in age, barriers, disability and situation, but all are made welcome and work together as a team in order to support each other through thick and thin.

LEAP members have supported other charities by fundraising and donating all through the years and now it is time for them to have some support, so Dig Deep To Help LEAP!

  • £10 would pay for craft items for the group
  • £20 would also provide a one to one session with a mentor; we have conducted 182 so far this year.
  • £50 would pay for transport for one month or a day trip
