MTIB’s 13th annual charity golf event proved to be unlucky in one respect – the weather! It absolutely persisted down from the first tee off to the last.

With driving rain and temperatures more reminiscent of late autumn instead of spring, 23 teams bravely embraced the elements and faced the challenging course at Morlais Castle Golf Club.

Although the weather proved to be unlucky, the Institute is exceptionally lucky and fortunate to have Companies and individuals who generously support the event.

Many thanks to all those who entered a team into the tournament, sponsored a tee or donated a raffle prize.

Congratulations to Elite Maintenance Solutions Ltd. who were the eventual winning team.

A notable thank you must be extended to the European Tour who kindly donated an Official 2010 Ryder Cup Limited Edition picture of the 18th Hole of the Celtic Manor Resort's Twenty-Ten Course. The picture was signed by the European Team Captain Colin Montgomerie. The picture was auctioned and raised £130.00
